Who’s the Dummy

One night in the lounge at the Ramada Inn in Marietta Ga. I have a friend that had a band and they played this lounge regular, and kept the bar packed every night. There were some rowdy patrons that would visit occasionally. On this one particular night there was a ventriloquists that my friend had caught his act and invited him to do a show between breaks for the band.

There was a regular patron that night named Oren, and he was sitting at a table in the front. Oren began trying to heckle the ventriloquists. Well being the professional the ventriloquists was, he let the Dummy he was using answer the heckler. The Dummy started getting the best of the heckler and old Oren was getting mad. Oren got so mad he stood up and was arguing with the Dummy. Oren was so frustrated with the Dummy he was wanting to fight with the Dummy. If the bouncer had not put him out I believe he would have tried to whip that Dummy. Then who would have been the DUMMY?
