I bought a 12 string Takamine in 1983 or '84 and will compare it to Martin, Ovation, Fender, Gibson,ect........as a matter of fact I tried all of the above around the Atlanta area music stores and decided the Takamine played better, had electronics built in, and looked as good and for much less cash.........can't bet that combination.
