I’ve got my new Takamine set up now and I am here to tell you , that thing plays better each time I sit down to play it. I have fell in love with this guitar, it’s playability and tone are second to none.It is truly a instrument you can harmonize with. It sounds as if I might be a little bit biased about this guitar, but it is stage ready and recording with it will be a must. The guys that built this masterpiece are to be commended for such an excellent job. This thing is as good and better than a lot of the custom guitars that I have played in my lifetime, and at a fraction of the cost. The best thing I can say to the manufacturer is to Keep Doing What You’re Doing.. Takamine is absolute Quality
A classic song by The Worlds Greatest Rock and Roll Band, The Rolling Stones. They were influenced by the likes of Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, and B B King who happens to be 82 years old today. I can remember when I first heard of B B King, I thought, who is this guitar player, I was more impressed with the guitar than with his singing, and I still am. B B King and Lucille, His trusty old Gibson Les Paul, have traveled the world and done gigs night after night for over 4 decades. A lot of the black artist say that a white man can’t do the blues, because it;s something you have to feel. Well I will argue that point with anyone, Look at The , Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Alvin Lee and Ten Years After. They are/were great blues performers. We all know that Soul Music rocks, look at Joss Stone, a 19 year old from the UK that has got the soul of a Sister, and like Janis Joplin, One of the best R&B Blues singers ever. Here’s a song by the Stones,It’s not a blues one but a classic Stones.
. These guys have been Rocking for over 5 decades and still the Best. I have seen these guys 3 times and each performance was better than the last. If you’ve never heard the title song by the Stones, I Got The Blues, then It’s worth the listen ,The Stones had a Young Billy Preston on keyboards and they really do a Jam up rendition of this great song.
I have a new Takamine guitar that I posted about a couple of day’s ago. I have fallen in love with this beautiful instrument. It plays so easy and the tone is incredible. All the big guitar names have been caught with their pants down, more and more artist are turning to Takamine for their choice in a quality guitar. Takamine guitars are of quality and reasonably priced.
Guitar lovers already know about the great quality and playability of Takamine Guitars. I just bought my second one, and it is not only a beautiful instrument, it is stage ready for any performer regardless of the type of music you play. The sound is incredible and pricing is awesome. I would put this baby up against guitars costing a couple of thousand dollars more than I paid for this one.
The Martin’s and the Gibson’s have their work cut out for them to make a guitar of this quality for this price. All I can say to that is have at it guy’s, you know you can do it, but will you do it? They are surely losing on the market share they once dominated. A new era is here and the pro’s want quality for a decent price ,and Takamine has delivered. Check out my new baby http://www.takamine.com/?fa=detail&mid=741&sid=526
I’m not talking to Wild Cherry either, who was the ones that recorded this song. I’m talking about two legendary bands that I believe have made music for all to hear for generations to come. One has already proved that their music is here to stay, while the jury is still out on the other one.
A group of guys going to a high school in Jacksonville, Florida would come together and rewrite the music world as we know it. Their southern music has been tested for about 30 years now, and it appears their music isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon. Lynyrd Skynyrd is a group that has crossed all the generation gaps and genders. A horrible tradgedy occured in the air that took away the heart and soul of this group when their plane crashed into a swamp in the state of Mississippi. They are just as popular today if not more popular as their music continues to jump generations. They are truly one band that can play that funky music! Check out the 5 greatest songs of this legendary band.
Now another top notch band that I can see their music being just as popular in 30 years from now is the boys from GNR (Guns N’ Roses). Guns N’ Roses are no longer together as a band, but when they were together they put out one hit after another. Their streak at putting out one great song after another one has never been done by any group or singer before. I think the Beatles and the King his self in Elvis Pressley would have trouble with saying they put out as many quality hits as Guns N’ Roses. The top 5 songs from Guns N Roses are going to be hard to distinguish, since you have so many great hits that this band done. GNR is just another group of white boys that are playing that funky music!
Cas Haley has blown me away again. His performance tonight was nothing short of great. This guy is so talented that I don’t think he knows his potential to be a Mega Star. Theres a ventriloquist Terry Fator who put on one heck of a show. This guy has to be the absolute best ventriloquist to Ever perform. I still say Cas Haley will win the competition, but we wont know until next week.Go do it Cas Haley

Rob Zombie is at it again, from The Devils Rejects to Halloween the movie 2007 watch the trailer and see the master in action
The trailer shows massive potential for bringing the Halloween franchise to a new level. From the White Zombie days and his solo career, Rob has given absolute proof that he is a master of horror. The Halloween of old was at best a B-movie, but now it is given a new face. Looking at House of 1000 corpses and The Devil’s Rejects gives an insight into the new realm of terror. There is a rock n’ roll feel and disturbing story line that the original could have never accomplished. Michael Myers is more human and unfortunately for the public in general more vicious. Baby sitters, beware. The night is dark and also long. Just hiding behind the bushes is not going to do it this time. Michael is going wreak havoc out in the open and bring his insanity to the people. In the old days, the fact that he could drive a car when all the other movie mass murderers, Jason Voorhees for instance, could not, does not cut it this time. There is more brutality and intensity in store for the movie going audience, not to mention the campy references and high octane scenarios. The Soundtrack kicks and especially the metal lovers won’t be disappointed. Halloween the movie fans will be screaming for a sequel. Rob may or may not bless us with it, but we know that whatever comes next will be a bloody dream.
Last week I got a phone call from an old friend that I had not seen in 20 years, and we used to be a band together. He wanted to know if i would care to sit in on a jam session at a castle near Cartersville, Ga with some more old friends. I guess the word Castle got my attention so I said yes. I had get my equipment together and dust it off good, check it out to be sure it was still in good working order.
I got ready to go jam with my old pal, and got directions to the castle. Upon approaching the place I was to go to, I passed through 2 large stone columns. I drove out the concrete driveway for what seemed to be a half mile and came upon a old pole barn. The closer I got the more things started to unfold. Sure enough at the far end of the pole barn was a small castle that was built and the entrance was from inside the barn. On the other side of the castle was a western type Bunk House that you entered in the barn as well.
I had noticed a huge stucco formation coming into the barn on the end that I entered on and there was a cave built from the stucco. I was very intrigued by the imagination that someone had brought to reality. Inside the cave there was water running down a couple of walls and going down to the floor and following veins in the floor back to the holding station for re circulation. There was a Fire place built into the cave and a bed built into the wall.It was really neat. On the far end of the cave there was water running through a filtering device and a fan behind it and that was the air conditioning system that worked very well.
In the Castle there was a fire place that had a huge stucco art cannon over the fireplace. It
had some modern day furnishing as well as some old Renaissances in there. And the bunk house was ready for some rest after a long day on the range.
I finally got to meet the owner who is the father of one of our State Senators. I told him how impressed I was with his place. He told me that he still has a lot to do before its finished. He wasn’t telling what was next, he said I would have to come back and see for myself what he has in mind for the rest of his project. It’s real hard to try to explain what this place looks like, it’s one of those things you have to see to believe. I went through the place about 3 times and every time I would see something that I had missed before. The Next time I go I will take a camera and take some pictures and post them so you can see what I am talking about. See you next time I am Jammin At The Castle!

I was watching America’s Got Talent earlier tonight on the tube, and I found this one guy that was very talented and worthy of the prize of a cool million. His name was Cal Haley and if he don’t win, someone in the good old U.S.of A. will pick this guy up and he will be recording I have a pretty good ear for music. There were some good acts on there but this guy was the only one that is worthy of the prize in my opinion. Who do you think should win?
The YouTube Sensation from Mexico that has been posting her videos on YouTube, didn’t just have fun with her webcam on her latest video. She took it to a whole new level!

As you can see Alex took a more serious approach to her musical passion that she enjoys doing in front of the whole world to see at YouTube. There is a trail of her videos that is being documented over at Single Source Writing. It gives you a chance to see how this youth from South of the Border found her way over the internet the last 7 months. While singing and talking from her webcam, she has drew a small fan following to her videos at YouTube.
Now with a slight image change on this latest video and a more serious look in her eyes (when you can see them from all the hair…..lol), you see the eyes of someone that looks determined. Where that determination leads her, remains to be seen? It should be one interesting journey to see where Alex goes from here. I have a feeling regardless where she ends up being, it will be very entertaining to follow. Keep in touch with all the latest information and news from a “star in the making” at Single Source Writing!

Are you ready? The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World,The Rolling Stones,The Rolling Stones. These were the words in 1969 at Madison square garden in New York City, When The Rolling Stones were introduced. They put on a show that was second to none. The fact of the matter is they made an album at that concert ,titled, Get Yer Ya Yas Out! This selection of tracts put on the vinyl was magical it has the touch of Chuck Berry songs,That Chuck could never do like they did them. Keith Richards was at his best in this concert he was Rocking the house.Mick Jagger running around the stage like he could not be exhausted for any reason.
I was listening to some of my old music collection tonight and thought I would include the piece of history in my blog.It is truly a classic, If you have never heard this album before I strongly urge you to get the cd and put it in ,crank it up and enjoy some real Rock and Roll from days of yesteryear. You will Love it Guaranteed.
I was watching America’s Got Talent tonight on the tube, and I saw some very talented people . I also seen some very untalented people. I am not one to watch this kind of programming, but I did tonight. I can say that I was really impressed by 4 young men who had an act of acrobat dancing. One of the guys had a disease I think it was called Lazy Legs. The muscle in his legs never developed strong enough for him to walk. He used a set of crutches. This guy had moves that were as good as the other three guys in the group. I guess what I am saying is that we are American, and we can overcome any obstacle as this young man did with his disability.
