Stupid Driving

July 3rd, 2008 by admin

Boy did I ever embarrass myself yesterday, I was in a hurry to meet an appointment with someone and as I was approaching the site where we were meeting I noticed their car in the parking lot so I immediately turned in the parking lot only to run slap over a stop sign. I have never felt so knuckle headed in all my life. People were in the parking lot and laughing and one lady that worked at the business there offered me her glasses so I could see something as big as a Stop Sign. I went and straightened the sign back up right and about 5 people were gathered around and we all had a good laugh about the incident. My wife offered to take my license from me. buy cialisbuy cialisbuy levitrabuy levitrabuy propeciabuy propeciabuy somabuy somabuy levitrabuy cialisbuy propeciabuy levitrabuy somabuy cialisbuy propeciabuy levitrabuy somabuy cialisbuy levitrabuy propeciabuy soma

Tornado activity hit near

May 24th, 2008 by admin

I went through The City of Holly Springs and Woodstock Ga yesterday after being hit by a F1 tornado. there was widespread damage, and luckily no one was hurt or died in it. I went through a trailer park that was destroyed and some of the people were still living in them with the roofs smashed in from tree’s or torn off by the twister. They were afraid to leave their homes for the fear of loosing what they had left to looters.

One guy told me that there were nothing but thieves and crack heads that lived there and he wasn’t leaving until he got every thing he could and clean up his lot. These people lived in older mobile homes and can’t get them insured so they lost everything as far as a home goes. It sounds like that the Insurance industry need a overhauling about its policy on old mobile homes. FEMA is suppose to step in, but we already know what a joke they are.

Pony Express

April 28th, 2008 by admin

I got curious and started to find out about the Pony express and I have had my leg pulled, The pony express did not come thru Georgia. But the story I was told was interesting to me anyway so I decided to pursue it farther. The Pony Express was a short lived operation of only 19 months and 80 riders but it was mainly from Missouri to California. It was a western thing DUH I should have already known that. I will still go to the White farm and enjoy the beauty of it and take in any history I may get.

Are you saving money

April 16th, 2008 by admin

The country is in a heck of a shape and people are loosing jobs, homes and pride. It’s not that most people aren’t stretched thin on the failing dollar, the problem is mainly decisions made without looking a long way down the road. I always say pay yourself first, that should be your priority. You make the money so why not keep some of it for yourself first. If you have savings accounts, then these times are a little easier for you to live. Sure the rates are down right now, but history tells us they will go back up, so pay yourself first, Always, and these troubled times won’t be such a hardship on your life.

Fuel for Thought

March 28th, 2008 by admin

Good food feeds the brain and fossil fuel feeds the transportation systems in our country, our personal vehicles are gas dependent. We get this gas from crude oil mainly from the middle east. Saudi Arabia has the largest oil field in the world and it concerns me that the well is over half empty. They are already pumping in 7 million gallons of sea water into the wells so the pumps can get it easily. This sounds like Fuel for Thought. Research it!

Buying Gas

March 19th, 2008 by admin

TIPS ON PUMPING GAS I don’t know what you guys are paying for gasoline…. But here in California we are also paying higher, up to $3.50 per gallon. But my line of work is in petroleum for about 31 years now, so here are some tricks to get more of your money’s worth for every gallon. Here at the Kinder Morgan Pipeline where I work in San Jose, CA we deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period thru the pipeline. One day is diesel the next day is jet fuel, and gasoline, regular and premium grades. We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of16,800,000 gallons. Only buy or fill up your car or truck in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground the more dense the gasoline, when it gets warmer gasoline expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening….your gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products plays an important role. A 1-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperat ure compensation at the pumps.

When you’re filling up do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to a fast mode. If you look you will see that the trigger has three (3)stages: low, middle, and high. You should be pumping on low speed, thereby minimizing the vapors that are created while you are pumping. All hoses at the pump have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some other liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor. Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you’re getting less worth for your money.

One of the most important tips is to fill up when your gas tank is HALF FULL or HALF EMPTY. The reason for this is, the more gas you have in your tank the less air occupying its empty space. Gasoline evaporates faster than you can imagine. Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the gas and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service stations, here where I work, every truck that we load is temperature compensated so that every gallon is actually the exact amount. Another reminder, if there is a gasoline truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy gas, DO NOT fill up–most likely the gasoline is being stirred up as the gas is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom. Hope this will help you get the most value for your money.

DO SHARE THESE TIPS WITH OTHERS! WHERE TO BUY USA GAS, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW. READ ON Gas rationing in the 80’s worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even be good for us! The Saudis are boycotting American goods. We should return the favor. An interesting thought is to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just buy from gas companies that don’t import their oil from the Saudis. Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends. I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil.

These companies import Middle Eastern oil: Shell…………………….. 205,742,000 barrels Chevron/Texaco……… 144,332,000 barrels Exxon /Mobil…………… 130,082,000 barrels Marathon/Speedway… 117,740,000 barrels Amoco………………………62,231,000 barrels Citgo gas is from South America, from a Dictator who hates Americans. If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION!(Oil is now $90 - $100 a barrel) Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil: Sunoco………………0 barrels Conoco………………0 barrels Sinclair…………….0 barrels B P/Phillips…………0 barrels Hess………………….0 barrels ARC0………………..0 barrels If you go to Sunoco.com , you will get a list ofthe station locations near you. All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing. But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas Buyers. It’s really simple to do. Now, don’t wimp out at this point… . Keep reading and I’ll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! I’m sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)…and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) .. and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers !!!!!!! If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted!

If it goes one level further, you guessed it …. THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!

Cape San Blas

March 17th, 2008 by admin

I have just returned from Cape San Blas Florida, and it was great. It is considered the forgotten coast. I stayed at a house on Cape San Blas that was the the old Saltworks for the confederate soldiers. They had set up a pit in the bay of St Joe and extracted salt from the bay , and we were in the Captain’s Quarters. It was away from the revelers that love to flock to the beaches in the spring. We had a beach almost exclusively to ourselves. The Saltworks got destroyed in the Civil War by the SS Kingfisher and then it headed north to take out Charleston. It was very secluded and Quite, we sat on the back porch and had our meals overlooking the bay. It was even a pet friendly place so our Jack Russel’s had a blast. So did we!

Quitting smoking

January 24th, 2008 by admin

Well heres the up date,I have almost quit smoking. I have been taking Chantrix for 3 weeks and I was smoking 2 packs a day and now I have had 3 cigarettes in 2 days. I think I will actually do it this time, I hate those stinking cigarettes and the they are starting to taste like fidos ass. I have been a smoker for over 40 years and I tell you that this is the hardest thing I haver ever tried to do. If I thought I could find a lawyer that would sue the industry and actually persue it instead of selling out to them I would sue the hell out of the tobacco industry and the government too for allowing this crap to be grown and sold in America. I Object

December 27th, 2007 by admin

With accidents happening today at record rates statistics say that you will have a little fender bender in your lifetime, and when it happens to you, you will need lawyers with experience in personal injury to take care of you. The insurance company’s job is to pay you little to nothing when you get injured in an accident, your job is to get well and be fairly compensated for your injury, the Lawyers job is to make sure the insurance company pays everything that you are entitled to, including but not limited to, medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering. The insurance industry is the richest industry in the world, so if you are in an accident make them pay what the law allows.
