Sleepless Nights

I have a lot trouble sleeping at night, I am on a lot of medications and I know that is what is doing it. in the past I couldn’t stand to got without at least 6 hours of solid sleep. Today if I get 2 hours of un interrupted sleep, I had a good night, but it’s taking its toll on my mind and body. I have been prescribed all kinds of sleeping pills only to work for about a week then they are in effective. I need some rest!!

Bert Marshall of Bay Town Texas is a person that started a group of friends that went to school together and keeping them in touch with each other. He has worked hard at this web site to keep everyone communicating. He also has a Blog that is linked to this site, you should take the time and read his blog. Chantix

So far I am impressed with the way that the chantix works, but I am still smoking. It does cut down on the craving but after a meal I still want one bad. Tomorrow will be my last day to smoke and I am trying hard to make this work. Wish me luck and encouragement.

Crazy Weather

Two weeks ago it was a high of about 36 A couple of days prior to that it didn’t get above 32. Is that crazy weather or what. Today is my B day and I was invited to breakfast with my daughter and I t was really good. I enjoyed the meal and the company. It seems to me that the older you get the more you appreciate the small things in life so much more. Between the crazy weather and another year older, I hope to fare all things that come.

I know that I have a pen here somewhere, but with all this clutter on this old desk doesn’t help matters any. The time has come for new office desks and we need them. 10×20 Garage

I bought a tent type garage to store stuff in until I can get somebody to build me a outbuilding to store stuff in. I am satisfied with the tent bldg, and it seems to have sufficient structure to hold up for a few months. I have 2 mini bikes, a go-cart, a wheel barrow, a set of car ramps, a pressure washer, a push mower and a riding mower with bag attachment and it’s just over half full. This free room that I gained in my garage seems to be worth the money I paid. I think I am going to put a table saw and a miter saw in there and it will be as Full as I want. Maybe a small air compressor at the most. I guess I will have to wait to see how it does, but I do believe it will be Okay!

Championship Mismatch Once Again

The BCS has once again put another weak team like Ohio State in the biggest football game of the year in college football. And once again the game is over with at halftime. The BCS has no clue on how to rank the best teams in college football these days. The rankings really mean nothing, because they just put the two teams they want to see play at the end of the year anyways. LSU was the number 7 team in all the land and once they barely beat Tennessee in the SEC Championship Game, they quickly rose to number 2. While their slot was being debated, no one really complained that Ohio State was in the big show. They only had 1 defeat, but with their weak schedule, they should have been undefeated with Hawaii.

None of this will ever be settled until a playoff system is in place. This will never happen due to the fact of money and that the southern teams would dominate. That is if they could even get more than 1 team into a playoff system. There’s just too much politics going on in college football and its time for the fans to stand up and say no more!

Why has the USC Trojans not been punished for their payments to Reggie Bush? Just a little more favortism going on in college football. I guess it doesn’t hurt to have all the rich boosters that the USC Trojans has. Other schools have had to serve suspensions and were not allowed to play in bowl games. I assume that USC will be facing some type of punishment in the near future.

I already have my list of teams for the rankings next year. You can see my top 10 Prerankings for the 2008 College Football season. These are the way the teams should be ranked for next year, based on returning starters and how they played this past season. Congrats to the LSU Tigers for representing the South once again in blowout fashion!

1963 1/2 Ford

When I was a kid I had a Ford that was a cool car and I really liked it a lot it was a 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500. The reason that Ford made a half year model is that during production of the 63 model
The Ford Galaxie had a squared type top in the mid year they decided to slope the top a little more and they called it a 1963 1/2 fastback. A black one with red interior with a 390 hp engine and 4 speed in the floor was an awesome car and a beauty to see. Mine was red with red interior and a 289 3 on the tree, It wasn’t as fast as the 390 but I still loved it anyway.

The Plymouth Barracuda is one of the most sought after Muscle cars in the world. These are the main year models that people want. Even a 69 with a numbers matching 340 engine you are looking at about 50,000.00, Factory Hemi, about 125-150,000.00 . I guess I will keep searching for that car and try to make a little cash from time to time.
