Takamine Means Quality II

I’ve got my new Takamine set up now and I am here to tell you , that thing plays better each time I sit down to play it. I have fell in love with this guitar, it’s playability and tone are second to none.It is truly a instrument you can harmonize with. It sounds as if I might be a little bit biased about this guitar, but it is stage ready and recording with it will be a must. The guys that built this masterpiece are to be commended for such an excellent job. This thing is as good and better than a lot of the custom guitars that I have played in my lifetime, and at a fraction of the cost. The best thing I can say to the manufacturer is to Keep Doing What You’re Doing.. Takamine is absolute Quality

I Got The Blues

A classic song by The Worlds Greatest Rock and Roll Band, The Rolling Stones. They were influenced by the likes of Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, and B B King who happens to be 82 years old today. I can remember when I first heard of B B King, I thought, who is this guitar player, I was more impressed with the guitar than with his singing, and I still am. B B King and Lucille, His trusty old Gibson Les Paul, have traveled the world and done gigs night after night for over 4 decades. A lot of the black artist say that a white man can’t do the blues, because it;s something you have to feel. Well I will argue that point with anyone, Look at The , Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Alvin Lee and Ten Years After. They are/were great blues performers. We all know that Soul Music rocks, look at Joss Stone, a 19 year old from the UK that has got the soul of a Sister, and like Janis Joplin, One of the best R&B Blues singers ever. Here’s a song by the Stones,It’s not a blues one but a classic Stones.
. These guys have been Rocking for over 5 decades and still the Best. I have seen these guys 3 times and each performance was better than the last. If you’ve never heard the title song by the Stones, I Got The Blues, then It’s worth the listen ,The Stones had a Young Billy Preston on keyboards and they really do a Jam up rendition of this great song.

Freeze It means “Arthritis Relief “

Arthritis relief can be obtained with a product named Freeze It. Hunting season is open

Deer Hunting opened last weekend in Georgia, some people will get out before daybreak with a stick and a string and they will attempt to make the string tight on the stick, then they take another stick and lay over the first stick and the end on the string. They pull the string and stick back and shoot it at a Deer or what ever they see. This is the way the Indians done it, now days people go and buy Hi Tech Bows and manufactured arrows and go hunting. If they really wanted to hunt they would make their own bow and arrows. Sorry folks but a deer is a beautiful animal and I love to see them in their own habitat. Don’t get me wrong on this, I love good deer meat, but I will not hunt deer, unless that was my only means of survival.

Black Friday’s coming

The busiest shopping day of the year is approaching fast. The Friday after Thanksgiving is Black Friday and it kicks off the holiday shopping season. You don’t have to get up at 4:30 or 5:00 A M to get to the mall and get in the middle of the crowd just find out they sold out that one hot item that everybody has to have. Check engine light

When your check engine light comes on it usually means that it’s time to service your car’s engine. But this is not always the case, today I learned something new about our emissions on our vehicles. We all know that we are supposed to turn the engine off when we get ready to re-fuel the vehicle. Well on some of our cars if you leave the engine running and put the fuel in the vehicle and when you put the cap back on the tank, after a few miles down the road the engine light will come on.

So we are off to the dealer to see whats wrong. Now I am not saying that all dealers are a little on the dishonest side, put when you need a new plugs and filters replaced to turn that stupid little light off, when all you needed to do was shut the engine off and take the gas tank cap off and put it back on, so the light go out. You’ve spent 50-60 bucks to still not know the truth. What do you do, go and buy your own OBD II code scanner. You can get them for about 30.00 to a few hundred dollars and turn the light off yourself. However if you do have a real problem with your engine, then you need to take it to your mechanic and get the problem resolved.

A rainy night in Georgia

Believe it or not its raining in North Georgia tonight. This is one of the driest summers on record. We have had over 30 days wit 90+ temps and topping out at 102 for about a week of those 30. We have not had any rain ,with the exception of a pop up thunder boomer every now and then. I think we are supposed to get the rain here for maybe 3 days consecutive.This will help and be appreciated but our deficit is so large that we still need rain for a couple of weeks to really make a big difference. I have never had a real good stand of grass in my yard ,it’s mostly just green stuff, weeds and some grass, It;s been so hot and dry, my weeds are dying out. I guess I will aerate the yard this fall and re seed to see if I can get a lawn for the following spring.

A rainy night in Georgia is a good thing and needed so badly, our crops have already had the damage done to them and the farmers who have put their hard work into the land are being penalized for the dry conditions that they have no control over. Could it be that Mother Earth is a little upset with the abuse we have placed upon her, or do we just need the rain?

This coming weekend is going to be really nice, the temps are going to be in the low 80′s and that will be heaven sent. James Gandolfini of the Soprano’s famous mob boss has a special coming on HBO Sunday night. Its a documentary about our Soldiers in Iraq, the wounded ones and how they have been pushed to the wayside. The Media as we all know, reports what sells, Death. They are always telling how many died, but barely tell us about the ones that have lost limbs and other body parts. The way these Great Soldiers Are being treated is a shame to our military. Maybe Tony Soprano should run for our next President of these United States. This is a War that is OIL motivated in my Opinion. When Bush leaves office he will still be getting richer because of the mess he put us in. Why not have Tony Soprano For President,he would do a much better job than Bush.
